Boring....

Oh Dear, the novelty of school has worn off, and there is no longer the high excitement about going to school. Trying to get information about school out of Joanna is an uphill struggle, however unfortunately the "BORING" word gets used rather frequently in relation to school. :-(
We have been thinking about why this is, and we have a feeling that it is because Joanna hasn't yet got good friends at school. She had best friends at nursery, Natasha and Caitlin, who she was always really excited to see. Playing on your own, even with great toys, is no fun compared to playing with other children. We're hoping that soon friendships will become clear, and school becomes fun again. She was brave and asked a girl what her name was, but apparently this girl didn't say anything. Tomorrow we'll encourage her to do the same again, hopefully with a better response.
