Siblings

Having three kids means the harmony in our house is sometimes (!) broken by fighting. John still doesn't say very much, but has practised "Daniel Naughty" enough so we understand that fairly well. Joanna gets on well with both her brothers most of the time, and the feeling is reciprocated, even if John almost always wants to go home before getting Joanna from school. Daniel loves both his siblings, which does make it a bit tricky when one of them is put on the naughty step for hurting him, as he'll go and get them straight away.
But the most interesting relationship is the love/hate between John and Daniel. John mostly ignores Daniel, or gets frustrated with him interfering. However that means that the odd bit of sharing that he does is so much more appreciated. For example yesterday Daniel was crying in his high chair, and John picks up a toy and goes to give it to Daniel. Should be interesting seeing how it develops over the next year or so.
However I have just spend 10 minutes writing this post, while all three kids play happily together with the farm set we have - Joanna dictating how the play goes, but the boys are happy, Better go - the fighting has started. Seems 10 minutes is the limit!
