Meals Out

Taking the kids out for a meal can be fun, but can be stressful, so we try to chose relaxed places to eat. This does mean that when we said to Joanna the other day "We're going to a restaurant" she asked what a restaurant was, and once we explained she replied "Oh, you mean a pub".

Yesterday was a bit worse than that though. I met up with a friend in Oxford, we were discussing what to do, and decided a nice walk round christ church meadow would be good. Joanna then starts to have a little meltdown "I want to go to the pub". Thankfully she was placated by going to Costa - after all 10am is too early even for me!
