We're very affectionate with our kids, but then they are lovely. Joanna is sweet back, giving us lots of lovely cuddles and lots of "I love you". John hasn't yet said those three words, but he does say "I missed you" quite a lot, even when we've been together. Daniel has mastered the putting hands up to be picked up, which is very lovely. Today John got home from playgroup, and there had been a few "I missed you" after I picked him up. The loudest "I missed you" arrived when we got home. I was about to respond to it when I realised he was hugging the house, and it wasn't me he was talking to.
