Consumerism

Joanna now appears to know how to work us. She knows it's her birthday, she knows she gets pressies, she's very excited about her birthday party. Thankfully she also realises not all pressies are for her. However this morning she said "I'm really sad because I don't have a blue scooter". Not just a simple request, but an implication that we would scar her for life if she doesn't get what she wants!
