John is now 1, and is no longer have a tiny baby :-( He's learning to stand by himself - 5 seconds before he has an undignified bump down onto his bottom.
He had a lovely birthday - going to visit animals at the farm, then he got a drumkit, then had friends over for afternoon tea.
He loved the drumkit. He sat on the stool with the drumsticks, looking pleased as punch. He then stuck his tongue out as he concentrated on how to make as much noise as possible. You may think we're mad for getting a drum kit, but this is when our kid's short attention span is great. They only manage a few minutes before getting bored.
