Yep, we're tackling the awful task of potty training. We've been introducing Joanna to the potty since last september, but this morning we braved the no nappy approach. In preparation for this we went to mothercare and brought (lots!) of pants. Pretty "In the night garden" pants. Or as Joanna would have you believe "Smelly pants". She's been very proud of them, sat in the back of the car saying "I love my smelly pants". Taking them to show her auntie when we visited, and also the male cashier at tescos, who was rather perplexed when she waved the packet of pants at him saying "smelly pants".
We have managed to move beyond smelly pants, and this morning they were "lovely pants". Although to be fair her first assessment of them would have been more accurate today! (5 smelly pants, 7 stickers given).
