Places

Joanna is learning where places are at the moment. Mark flew to Chicago in december, and we brought a little inflatable globe to show Joanna. We pointed out where Auntie Pippa lives, and where Daddy was going. Mark said he had to fly as it was a long way. Joanna did suggest he drive, but Mark said that it was over water. Joanna then pointed out the latitude lines and said that he could drive down them.
Joanna's learning the names of places where we live, and she said proudly the other day that her cousin Dave lived in Goose. I gently corrected her and said he lived in Swansea, but at least she'd named a different water bird!
